Writer and general troublemaker

Hey there! I’m David (or Dave — either is fine). I wanted to be a writer from a pretty early age. While I was slogging away writing mostly terrible stuff that ended up in the trash (though they were excellent learning experiences), I spent my time working in the banking industry as, among other things, a research analyst, product manager, e-commerce manager, and a VP of marketing before finally getting fed up with the sociopaths and lunatics that inhabit the upper echelons of banking. I made a late-career switch to healthcare communications, which I find much more compatible with my disposition and less likely to give me an ulcer. I had hoped to one day be a full-time writer but alas and dammit, it’s been decades and I still have to hold down a “day job” so I can earn that pesky stuff “money.”
I have a son and stepson, a wonderful dog and four great cats. And since author bios are about as exciting as folding laundry, I’ll call it quits here now.
